Amy Wadas Amy joined the 7 News team in September 2009 as a producer for the 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm newscasts.

In addition to producing the news, Amy is also a journalist for the website Examiner.com. She writes about different news happenings that occur in and around the Pittsburgh area.

Prior to working at 7 News, Amy held the position of account executive at an advertising and public relations agency in Pittsburgh. Amy also anchored, reported and worked behind-the-scenes for WPSU-TV, the PBS affiliate in State College, PA during college.

A Penn State University graduate, Amy is a true Nittany Lions fan. She loves anything Penn State, and bleeds blue and white. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Health Policy and Administration.

In her spare time, Amy loves to figure skate, ski, dance, travel, spend time with family and friends, learn about new and social media and of course attend Penn State football games!
