I can not see your Channel 7 signal anymore, what happened?
WTRF's analog channel 7 transmitter is now off the air. WTRF is transmitting a new digital signal on channel 7. If you have a DTV converter box or a television with a digital tuner, you can re-scan for the new channel 7 signal.
I don't have a converter box, what can I do?
In order to get WTRF again you will need to get a DTV converter box and hook it up using its instructions.
How do I get a DTV converter box?
I have a converter box but don't know how to hook it up?
You should try to follow the instructions that came with the box. If you still can not get it working you can call the FCC Hotline at 1-888-225-5322. This hotline can assist you with any questions you may have.
I did get your 7.1 digital channel but I don't anymore, what happened?
WTRF's digital transmitter is on the air but transmitting on a different channel. WTRF has a new digital transmitter on the air on a new channel. You will need to do a channel re-scan so you can find the new channel. Depending on your converter box or television, you might have to delete the 7.1 channel you had a few days ago and then re-scan or add the new channel 7.
I have done a channel re-scan and still can not get your channel, what can I do?
You need to be sure you have deleted or removed all reference to 7.1 in your box or television. The old WTRF digital channel might still be in the device's memory.
If this does not work you need to confirm your antenna or rabbit ears have VHF elements. On most rabbit ears these are the long sticks. The round circle on the rabbit ears are for the UHF channels. Since the new digital transmitter is channel 7 it is VHF so you need the long ears or elements of the antenna.
If the antenna does have VHF elements you should try to move the antenna a little and try another scan.
I am on a cable system but I do not see WTRF, what is happening?
Most cable systems are getting the new digital channel. If your cable system is not please contact them to see if they are having problems.
