Coal Truck Slams Into Belmont County Home

Police said a car struck the coal truck.

UNIONTOWN, Ohio -- Some anxious moments for a Belmont County man who was watching television inside his house Tuesday afternoon.

A coal truck crashed into it!

The coal truck driver wasn't injured, but the driver of a car who crashed into the coal truck was hurt and was taken to a hospital.

It happened on Route 331 in Uniontown, Ohio.

The Ohio Highway Patrol tells 7News the coal truck was coming around a turn when the car hit it.

Authorities stated that the roads were very slick at the time.
