Bellaire, Ohio -- If you drive between Bellaire and Neffs in Ohio, there's a traffic pattern change you need to know about.
State Route 149 west of Bellaire will be reduced to one lane.
It's part of the 1.4 mile relocation project that began last July.
Two-way traffic will be maintained with a temporary traffic signal. Ohio Department of Transportation's Contractor, Shelly and Sands of Zanesville, is excavating and blasting the adjacent hillside to realign the highway.
This part of the project is expected to last two months. The completion date for the entire $6.3 million project is August 2010.
ODOT reminds motorists that fines in construction zones are doubled for not obeying traffic signs.
