Announces A Move From Bellaire To Morristown

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- A long-time Bellaire business has outgrown its space.

Tricor Industrial Corporation is leaving Bellaire for another location in Belmont County.

The Belmont County Port Authority director made the announcement at the county commission meeting.

Tricor is moving into the former ODOT Garage in Morristown, which had been purchased by the Union Local School District.

At this point, they say the school district needs the money more than the garage, and Tricor needs the garage in order to expand its growing business.

"The building that we had down in Bellaire, we've been there 30 years, great town and everything, but it's just too small," said Tom Lorenz, Tricor branch manager. "So Larry Merry of the Port Authority has been kind enough to find us an excellent building which is four times the size of where we are now, and we're excited to move up there."

"It was a win for everyone," said Merry. "It's a nice thing that we can help a school district out and we can help a company out that's growing in the community and we can help Belmont County out as a whole and add more additional jobs to Belmont County."

Tricor has seven employees and they hope to double that number in the near future.

They're going from 5,000 square feet to 18,000 square feet.

Tricor sells industrial fasteners, tools and supplies.
