Elderly Ohio Man Killed While on Lawnmower

Malaga, Ohio -- An 85 year-old Jerusalem, Ohio man is killed while riding his lawnmower on the road.

According to the Ohio Higway Patrol, Joseph N. Gallagher was going in between houses that he mows Wednesday around 1:30p.m. Authorities say when Gallagher attempted to turn off of County Road 39 onto State Route 145 near Woodsfield, he was struck by a pick up and killed.

The two people in the truck were not injured.
