Barry Carpenter and Chad Dojack will face a judge again.

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- Two Belmont County police chiefs are scheduled to be back before a judge today.

Bridgeport Police Chief Chad Dojack and Martins Ferry Chief Barry Carpenter are accused of being involved with the break in at the Colerain home of the surrogate mother for Hollywood stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Mathew Broderick. Both of the chiefs have been off the job for some time.

A third man, Bruce Callarik, the son of the Bridgeport mayor, is also facing charges.

7 News will be in the courtroom and bring you the latest on wtrf.com later this morning and on 7 News at Noon.

PREVIOUS REPORTS STATED BRIDGEPORT CHIEF DOJACK IS STILL ON THE PAYROLL. BRIDGEPORT MAYOR IS COVERING THIS EXPENSE AT THE COST TO THE TAXPAYERS. WHEN THE COURT ACTION IS FINALIZED AND IF THE CHIEF IS FOUND GUILTY= WILL THE MAYOR REIMBURSE THIS EXPENSE TO THE TAXPAYERS FROM HIS OWN POCKET??
