WHEELING -- The Ohio Valley Regional Transit Authority will designate its buses as safe places beginning Monday.
Safe place sites are part of a national outreach and prevention program for children under the age of 18.
Starting Nov. 2, any child in the area that is in crisis can jump on any bus for safety.
The kids can then request help from a youth service systems representative if needed.
