FOLLANSBEE -- The Hooverson Heights Church of Christ in Follansbee is starting a new Thanksgiving tradition.
"Turkey On The Hill" will be a full-course meal from 1 - 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for anyone in the Follansbee area who is needy, hungry or alone.
Spokeswoman Mary Kimberland said it is mainly for people facing financial hardship, but it is actually for anyone who wants to attend.
"If you have children and you just want to save all your money for their Christmas gifts rather than spending a lot on Thanksgiving dinner, then come on up.," said Kimberland. "If you're alone, come on up. We are here for everyone."
The Hooverson Heights Church of Christ is located at 100 Church St.
