ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- Belmont County Sheriff Fred Thompson says a man walked into the Factory Card Outlet in St. Clairsville, placed a package on the counter, told the clerk it was a bomb and demanded money Thursday evening.
The man, still on the loose, is described as 6-feet, 1-inch tall to 6-feet, 2-inches tall, very thin, wearing a black and white bandanna, blue jeans and a black leather jacket.
The sheriff said the man has gray hair and a gray goatee.
Thompson said he had summoned the Columbus Bomb Squad with their bomb detecting K-9s.
In the meantime, all the stores in that section have been evacuated.
That includes Hair Inc., H and R Block, Little Caesars, Picket Fence, Movie Gallery, U.S. Nails and Factory Card Outlet.
