ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- No.9 Ohio State defeated Michigan for the sixth consecutive year, this time 21-10, and clinched the Big Ten title outright.
Ohio State (10-2, 7-1) has won five straight conference championships and will play in the Rose Bowl with a five-game winning streak.
Buckeyes Head Coach Jim Tressel improved to 8-1 against the Wolverines.
Ohio State got it done on the ground, piling up 251 yards on 53 carries.
Running back Boom Herron had 96 yards rushing, Brandon Saine ran for 84 yards and scored on a 29-yard run, and quarterback Terrelle Pryor finished with 74 yards on the ground. Pryor was spectacular through the air, completing 9 of 17 passes for just 67 yards and an interception.
This was the 106th meeting all-time between Ohio State and Michigan. The Wolverines lead the all-time series, 57-43-6.
Michigan finishes the season with a 5-7 record, and out of bowl contention for the second straight season.
