WHEELING -- A whopper of a winter storm will move into the Ohio Valley today.

Rusty Jebbia, the Dir. of Public Works for the City of Wheeling, said his snow plows are all ready to tackle what Mother Nature will throw at them. Jebbia said he has plenty of salt, cinders and manpower. The same is echoed in Belmont County. People are warned not to crowd the plow and let crews do their job.

"The apocolypse." LMAO. You said it, pal. This is ridiculous. WTOV9 is running a special 90 minute block this evening, with a special newscast at 10pm tonight. Kroger and Riesbecks thank you for all the hype.

The NWS is just now predicting it. I gave the web site! Didn't you look? I didn't make it up. I mean, you'd think the apocolypse is upon us due to some snow. People running to the grocery store stocking up and for what? It's as if some people think they're going on an expedition to K2.

"How is it that Dr. Dave is reporting snow totals when NOAA doesn't know? "

The National Weather Service is predicting 6-12 inches for the area

HYPE! How is it that Dr. Dave is reporting snow totals when NOAA doesn't know? That's where he gets his weather from. Go to www.noaa.gov and type in 26003 and hit enter. After that page comes up scroll down and click on "Discussions." They don't know, which means Ch. 7 doesn't know. Period! Go to Pendleton County for a winter "storm" but for here, keep your broom handy. HYPE!
