St. Clairsville Man Jailed After Allegedly Injuring Child

ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio -- A St. Clairsville man is in the Belmont Bounty Jail charged with severely injuring a 2-year-old girl.

"Based on a tip they received, the Belmont Bounty Bheriff's Department began an investigation yesterday", said Belmon County Prosecutor Chris Berhalter. "The evidence they gathered from that investigation led this office to charge this defendant with felony child endangering and that was based on the injuries the victim had sustained in this case. and that charge is punishable by up to eight years in prison."

Officials said the toddler had serious injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Lyden is expected to be in court within the week.

The family lives on Crabapple Rd. in St. Clairsville, Not Lafferty!! It sounds like iluvlehjr thinks shes knows everything, maybe she should be questioned.

Child services needs to check into the entire Lyden household. There is more than one child in that family being abused. More info: the family lives in Lafferty.

More detailed info on this investigation. Who else in the family involved, where are they located, what hospital.. again.. additional relevant details .
